April 1st, Class 2017 and Class 2018 international students of College of Civil Engineering and Architecture, led by Associate Professor Zhao Junliang and Dr. Fan Ning, went to Wenzhou Zhanyu Construction Industry Technology Co., Ltd. for civil engineering professional practice.
The factory is located at No. 355, Binhai 14th Road, Wenzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, Zhejiang Province, with a total area of about 80 acres. It mainly produces commercial concrete and the design, research and development, production and installation of prefabricated components. Through this professional practice, students can personally experience the construction and production process of precast concrete, the influence of prefabricated construction on modern construction and the work efficiency of modern production workshops, also they can understand the pollution and quality problems that may be caused by cast-in-place concrete in engineering construction. Through the detailed introduction and patient explanations of two teachers, they learned the advantages of prefabricated construction in engineering applications. Through this professional internship, the students' professional vision has been broadened.
Taking into account the cause of the epidemic, the students participating in this on-site professional internship are all students on campus. During the internship, the video was recorded and shared with students who are still overseas, so that everyone can learn and make progress together.
