April 7th, Class 2017 and Class 2018 international students majoring in Civil Engineering of College of Civil Engineering and Architecture, led by Associate Professor Zhao Junliang, Dr. Fan Ning and Dr. Ge Miaomiao, went to China Railway Construction Group Co., Ltd. D31 and D11 construction program for civil engineering professional practice.
The construction site is located in Lucheng District, Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province. It is a comprehensive land (including residential), with a total land area of 47989.71 square meters and a planned construction area of 170843.37 square meters. This professional practice is mainly to provide students with the opportunity to learn in-depth on-site construction of foundation pit support, and to enable students to have a deep understanding of the practical application of foundation pit support in engineering construction and the construction problems that may be encountered.
Through the detailed introduction by the leading teachers and the person in charge of the construction site, all students realized the specific solutions to the problems in the foundation pit support construction, as well as the materials, layout and construction technology of the internal support beams and support piles. Through this internship, students have deepened their understanding of the foundation pit site and enriched their professional knowledge.
Taking into account the cause of the epidemic, the students participating in this on-site professional internship are all students on campus. During the internship, the video was recorded and shared with students who are still overseas, so that everyone can learn and make progress together.
