October 14th morning, In 7A302, College of Civil Engineering and Architecture held a welcome ceremony for 2022 International Post-graduates and supervisors . The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Zhao Junliang, Director of International Education Office. All the 2022 international master's students and supervisors attended the meeting.
Firstly, Mr. Zhao Junliang expressed welcome to all 2022 international post-graduates. Then made an explaination of supervisor assignment. College of Civil Engineering and Architecture will arrange teaching schedule according to each supervisor research and college actual teaching situation.
Then, Mr. Zhao introduced College leadership, programs, teachers and staffs of international education office, to help students to get familiar with the environment of the college as soon as possible, and to provide convenience for future study and life. Most importantly, Mr. Zhao introduce all supervisors’ research area, to help students to deepen their knowledge of the subject, so as to realize role change as soon as possible, and better adapt to the study of the postgraduate stage.
Finally, students make brief introduction, spoke freely and expressed their longing for postgraduate life and their longing for scientific research career.
Through this welcome ceremony, students had a deeper understanding of the college and their supervisors, which is helpful for freshmen to clarify their future study planning and development direction, and to further improve the training of international graduate students of our college.
