On May 12 10 am., in room 7A302, College of Civil Engineering and Architecture convened a meeting named 2020 Fall Semester International Postgraduate Admission Qualification Evaluation. The meeting was chaired by Zhao Junliang, director of the International Education Office of College of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and participated by Wu Zexiang, deputy director of the International Education Office, Professor Wang Guobo, Doctor Ye Changpeng, Doctor Fan Ning and Xue Meiwei who is secretary of International Education Office.
Our college mobilized on-study students who match postgraduate application requirement since January 2020. Since online application system opened, we have received 14 applicants, they came from our college on-study undergraduate students and those other get admission information by other methods. This meeting was our round 1st Qualification Evaluation, we conducted a comprehensive assessment of the applicant's performance in the school, undergraduate scores, professional recommendations, etc. Adhere to the principles of "fairness and justice" and "choice of merit" , we hope to select outstanding applicants.
Zhao Junliang, director of the International Education Office of College of Civil Engineering and Architecture, said taking into account the reasons for this year's Coronavirus disease, visas may be affected as a result, there will be great resistance to graduate admissions. Nevertheless, we must pay more attention to this work and provide consulting to international students to help them continue their study smoothly.
